This is a picture of myself with Aaron from Intrigue Chocolates at the 3rd annual Seattle Chocolate Salon. His crew is always a delight. As the Chocolate on the Beach Festival coordinator, I was looking for chocolatiers with something interesting and different. The crew was extremely helpful in this endeavor. I followed their leads and wasn’t disappointed. I mean really. Who better to tell you where to go for something special?
I also sat in on Aaron’s class with Quady Winery. He did a pairing with His new truffles and their wonderful Muscats. Aaron was funny and informative. It felt as though we were learning right along with him. He turned a staid conference room into a intimate party. His crew worked hard making sure everybody got to taste everything, including the late comers.
Here is a list of the dynamic duos; Electra & Mojito, Red Electra & Balsamic Strawberry, Essensia & Lavender Lemon, Elysium & Saint Basil and Non Vintage Starboard batch 88 & Jamaican HOT Chocolate.
Here’s a picture of the cute little box the truffles came in. It was lovely to have two of each truffle. The other truffle not mentioned above is the Coconut Card
amon. In my next blog I’ll write about the truffles in-depth. Be sure to check out these two great companies!
